Permission-first placements, protected by proof

DropRoute is built around legal, permission-based field marketing. Every placement is backed by GPS, photo, and QR proof and reviewed before payout. Runners and businesses agree to the policies below.

Runner responsibilities

  • Place materials only in legal, permitted, publicly accessible, or campaign-approved locations.
  • Never trespass, vandalize, litter, damage property, cover official signs, block visibility, or place materials in unsafe areas.
  • Follow campus, venue, city, transit, residential, and private-property policies even when a job looks available nearby.
  • Submit honest proof: a clear photo of the real placement, accurate GPS, and the assigned QR ID.

Business responsibilities

  • Provide accurate placement instructions, approved venue types, removal rules, artwork, and prohibited-location guidance.
  • Set fair payouts and fund campaigns through Stripe before runners begin work.
  • Review proof promptly and approve verified placements so runners are paid without delay.
  • Honor removal requests and respect the rights of venues and property owners.

How we keep it trustworthy

Accounts and data are secured through Supabase with role-based access. Campaign funding and runner payouts run on Stripe — DropRoute never stores your card or bank details. Every placement is reviewed against its GPS, photo, and QR proof before money moves, and admins can reject submissions with unclear photos, missing QR IDs, suspicious locations, or insufficient permission context.

Local laws still apply

DropRoute provides the marketplace, proof, and payment rails — it does not grant permission to post in any specific location. Runners and businesses are responsible for complying with local advertising ordinances, venue and campus rules, property rights, tax obligations, and worker-classification laws in their jurisdiction. When in doubt, get permission first.
